This is a vinyl LP pressing of Two A Day by Chet Baker, presented as a limited edition release. Recorded on December 29, 1978 at Château d’Hérouville, the session features Jean-Louis Rassinfosse on bass, Jeff Brillinger on drums, and Phil Markowitz on piano, and was later mixed at Studios Davout on December 8, 1979. Not reissued on vinyl since 1980, Two A Day is a rare and little-known but remarkable album that blends instrumental and vocal performances, infused with the swing and emotional depth characteristic of Baker’s finest work, and this edition has been carefully remastered to restore the warmth and intimacy of the Château d’Hérouville sessions—an iconic studio that also hosted artists such as David Bowie and Pink Floyd—and features hot gold foil numbering for added collectability.
