With the Deluxe Roadhouse Strat, Fender have taken the classic style of their iconic guitar and merged it with modern electronics into a first-rate solid body electric guitar. The alder body is loaded with three Texas Special single coil pickups augmented with a special V6 rotary switch (disguised as the middle tone knob) that accesses six distinct onboard preamp tone settings from wiry single-coil to searing lead. An S-1 switch bypasses the preamp to produce traditional Strat chime. If you're a fast lead player, you'll love the Deluxe Strat's comfortable Modern C-shaped maple neck and flat 12" radius fingerboard. You also get a host of stylish appointments on the Deluxe Strat, like nickel/chrome hardware, a 3-ply pickguard, and aged-white pickup covers, control knobs, and switch tip.
