MEINL snare cajons feature a fully adjustable internal set of snare wires that brush against the inside of the playing surface to deliver a crisp snare effect when playing. This helps to achieve a crisp sound that enhances bass notes and gives corner hits extra snap. Adjusting the amount of pressure the snares have on the frontplate by turning the knob conveniently located on the side opens up the sound options and varies the sensitivity of the cajons. This model features a new, unique innovation which enables both the original snare sound and the voluminous bass sound by movement of a pedal located on the side.
