This is a vinyl LP pressing of Sonny Clark Trio (Blue Note Tone Poet Series) self-titled. The American jazz pianist originally released his album in May 1958, via Blue Note Records. Produced by Alfred Lion, the album was recorded at Van Gelder Studio in Englewood Cliff, New Jersey. The album consists of a 6-song set of bebop themes and standards featuring bassist Paul Chambers and drummer Philly Joe Jones.
