Squier Vintage Modified Jazzmaster Electric Guitar, Sonic Blue

First introduced at the 1959 NAMM Show, the Fender Jazzmaster was initially marketed to jazz guitarists, but quickly became popular among surf rock guitarists in the early 1960s. Similar in appearance to a Fender Jaguar, it was actually quite a different guitar, from a tonal perspective. This Squier Vintage Modified Jazzmaster pays homage to the great Jazzmasters of the past but is also appointed with modern touches like two single-coil Jazzmaster Duncan Designed pickups and a modern “C”-shaped maple neck. Other features that provide vintage Jazzmaster style and tone include dual-circuit switching and controls and a floating-vibrato bridge. The lightweight, basswood body of this vintage styled offset guitar provides hours of comfortable playing. The Dual Duncan Designed JM-101B single-coil Jazzmaster pickups provide that hot-rocking tone single-coils are known for, and with vintage dual-circuit switching and volume and tone controls for each mode, you can explore plenty of tonal options for both lead and rhythm playing.
