About This Product

This is a 2022 reissue vinyl LP pressing of Chet Baker & Crew by Chet Baker. The American jazz composer and trumpeter originally released his album in February 1957, through Pacific Jazz. Produced by Richard Bock, the album was recorded in July 1956 at a Forum Theater in Los Angeles. Chet Baker is known for major innovations in cool jazz leading him to be nicknamed the "prince of cool". He was honoured with various awards and was inducted into the Big Band and Jazz Hall of Fame induction in 1997, and in 2001 in the Grammy Hall of Fame Award.
