About This Product

This is a 2016 reissue vinyl LP pressing of Deep Purple self-titled. The English rock band originally released their third studio album on June 21, 1969, via Tetragrammaton Records. Produced by Derek Lawrence, the album was recorded at De Lane Lea Studios, Kingsway, London. The music of this album is mostly original and a combination of progressive rock, hard rock and psychedelic rock, but with a harder edge and with the guitar parts in more evidence than in the past.
