Dexter Calling . . . (Blue Note Tone Poet Edition) - Dexter Gordon (Vinyl) (AE)

This is a vinyl LP pressing of Dexter Calling... by Dexter Gordon, presented as a Blue Note Tone Poet Edition. Originally recorded in 1961, the album marked a triumphant return for the legendary tenor saxophonist, featuring a dynamic quartet with Kenny Drew, Paul Chambers, and Philly Joe Jones. The set moves effortlessly between hard-swinging jazz and expressive ballads. This stereo edition was produced by Joe Harley, mastered by Kevin Gray from the original analogmaster tapes, pressed on 180g vinyl at RTI, and housed in a deluxe gatefold tip-on jacket.
