About This Product
The goal was to recreate the sound of the late 1950s humbuckers without simply replicating them with Alnico 2 or aged Alnico 5 magnets. So DiMarzio created Airbucker technology to capture all of the qualities of vintage humbuckers while eliminating the technical issues. The Air Classic has the same sweet sound as a classic humbucker, but more reliable full-strength Alnico 5 magnets reduce string-pull , giving you better sustain and sensitivity. The result sound that jumps off the string faster and stays true as it sustains. The control this provides will offer you an unparalleled ability to create your own sound.
