This is a 2011 reissue vinyl LP pressing of Dirty Mind by Prince. The American singer-songwriter originally released his third studio album on October 8, 1980, via Warner Bros Records. The self-produced album was recorded at Prince's home studio in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with more rock-oriented elements and a fusion of funk, new wave, R&B and dance. The first single from Dirty Mind, "Uptown", reached number five on both the Billboard Hot Soul Singles and the Billboard National Disco Action Top 30 charts.
