About This Product

Ernie Ball Slinky Flatwound Short Scale Bass Strings combine the smooth feel of traditional flatwounds and the power of Cobalt. Featuring a Cobalt ribbon wrap, Cobalt underwraps and optimal hex-core to wrap ratio, the new Flatwound Short Scale bass strings are the first flat that actually feels like a flat and sounds like a round. Designed to fit 30.5" scale basses, the string length is 44" with a taper at 32.5".
