The English alternative-rock band released their second studio album on February 26, 2016, via Polydor Records. Produced by Mike Crossey, George Daniel and Matthew Healy, the album was recorded at Ravenscourt Studio, London and The Ranch, Woodland Hills, California. The album's sound has been described as pop, new wave, dance-rock, pop-punk and soul. The album became the group's second number-one in the United Kingdom, debuting atop the UK Albums Chart, with combined sales of over 58,000. On 10 April 2017, the album was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for combined sales and album-equivalent units of over 500,000 units.
