This is a vinyl LP pressing of In Orbit (Original Jazz Classics Series Reissue) by Clark Terry with Thelonious Monk. Recorded in New York in 1958 and released the same year, In Orbit is trumpeter Clark Terry's sixth album as a leader. The album features Thelonious Monk on piano in his only Riverside outing as a sideman, alongside Sam Jones on bass and Philly Joe Jones on drums. This reissue is part of the Original Jazz Classics Series and is pressed on 180-gram vinyl, mastered from the original tapes by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio.
