About This Product
The MEINL Headliner djembe has outstanding acoustic properties that reach from deep, reasonant bass notes to cutting, high-pitched slaps. The shell is hand carved from a single piece of mahogany and has a gouged, textured surface giving it an even more traditional look. Hand selected goat skin heads are held in place and tuned using a traditional system of nylon rope, and produce classic djembe sounds, from the bassy boom in the middle, to the sharp pops at the edges. It's perfect for drum circles, jam sessions or live shows, and can be played right out of the box.

Does my order come with a warranty?
Yes! All orders come with Essential Coverage for a year from the date of purchase once you’ve registered your order details in your Swee Lee account.
Can I test an item before buying it?
Unless displayed in a store, we keep our instruments freshly sealed in our warehouse. Should you wish to try an instrument before ordering it online, please call your favourite Swee Lee showroom before heading down, and our staff will be happy to assist!
