This is a 2010 mono reissue vinyl LP pressing of The Doors self-titled. The American rock band originally released their debut studio album on January 4, 1967, via Elektra Records. Produced by Paul A. Rothchild, the album was recorded at Sunset Sound Studio in Hollywood. The Doors and "Light My Fire" have been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. In 2015 the Library of Congress selected The Doors for inclusion in the National Recording Registry based on its cultural, artistic or historical significance. The Doors remains the band's best-selling studio album, with sales of over 13 million copies, as of 2015.
