Compiled with the full participation of original members Brian Wilson, Mike Love, and Al Jardine, this landmark release presents, for the first time, the legendary 1966–67 recording sessions for the never-completed SMiLE album. Intended as the ambitious follow-up to the groundbreaking Pet Sounds, the original master tapes remained unreleased for decades, earning SMiLE mythical status among music fans. Drawn from the original master recordings, The Smile Sessions offers a fascinating and comprehensive look into one of the most celebrated unfinished albums in music history.
