About This Product
Born out of two years of research to find the right sound for Steve Vai's guitars, DiMarzio's Evolution neck pickup is designed for plenty of output and warm, rich tone. It is punchy, fat and loud! With DiMarzio's patented dual-resonance configuration to reproduce more harmonic overtones, it is not for the timid, but if you've got the chops and a hot amp your sound will soar. Evolution pickups were originally designed for live situations, to push your amp to its full potential, but their presence and definition make them great in recording applications too.
